In 2024, MARLIN emerged with an extended keel, a sandblasted hull, a fully refitted deck and mast, and updated navigation systems. We also modernized the interior with upgrades including a stainless steel countertop, new ceilings, and floors, while adding solar panels for improved energy efficiency. In this video we show the condition of the bulkheads on a Seaway 25 after 44 years and the dangers of not checking them. This Seaway like many over the years had its Port bulkhead which was a 1/2 bulkhead that connected to the centreboard case to support it, removed to allow easier access internally. We are refitting it as it was designed and built in 1980. All the woodwork is done by Frechevile Heeney Boatbuilders in Paynesville Victoria. #seaway25 #woodwork #boatbuilding
