Internet and cellular coverage in the San Blas islands does not include all parts of the Guna Yala region There are very few antenas and the ones there are, do not reach the whole archipelago . A friend took a quick video of my electric bike. I'd already ridden 25km that day so the battery was about half full. When full it'll wheelie on full throttle and I'd have to be careful not to flip it! I hit 58km/h in the video here, but had to stop accelerating as I was running out of road! The motor I used was designed for torque. 120nM of torque in my setup. Top speed: 65km/h on a flat road, 55km/h uphill (any hill!) Range: 50km Cost to recharge: $0.09!
