I am back on KARL since March 2015 and just accomplished my first two overnight solo sail from San Blas to Cartagena with my good old Karl. Just had to share this with you shortly, cause I am super excited about it :). The second season will start around June / July 2015 with new stories to tell. After anchoring at Brick Hill near Cumberland Island, we took about a 4 mile dinghy ride to the Plum Orchard docks. Once there, we hiked across the island to the most amazing beach with literally only 2 other people (way far away). We saw lots of birds, armadillos, a baby tortoise, and of course wild horses. We ❤️ this island/National Park.
