Hallberg-Rassy now offer EcoDeck, which is a strong, flexible, solvent free, UV-proof polyurethane resin based decking and caprail system. This viscous-elastic composite material has a stylish and warm effect with a seamless and durable finish. PU teak is made of polyurethane, which is more durable and non-skid than a PVC deck. PU teak has been used for years on superyachts. We have been struggling to sort out the battery power for the electric motor as part of our fully electric boat refit. Except for diesel heating for a British winter, we are going to be Fossil Fuel free. These Lithium (LiFePO4) batteries from Fogstar are the game changer for us.
