Stamane sono arrivata con la mia barca a vela Maneki all'isola piu' piccola dell'arcipelago delle Canarie, la Graciosa. E' separata da Lanzarote solo da qualche miglia, ma e' completamente differente, la sua sabbia e' dorata e i coni vulcanici variopinti. C'e' un unico ancoraggio, playa Francesa e un'unica marima, Caleta de Sebo. Il resto e' riserva marina. non ci sono strade asfaltate e la si percorre in bicicletta in un giorno. Ma durante il weekend e' affollata di turisti che arrivano dalla vicina Lanzarote.

Our #sailing adventure in #newyork was a unique and challenging experience. Aside from being a bustling #harbour with much marine traffic, the harbour is affected by tidal currents—two floods and two ebbs every day. Went to Jetty Park Beach today to see if we thought the washed out beach might be worth taking our metal detector to search for treasures. The beach erosion was more than we thought but I believe we will plan a trip back with the detector. never know what kind of treasures you might find!
