Dock Dodge is a sailboat race on Lake Union, annually May - September, held at 7 pm on Tuesday nights. On Tuesday, August 10th, the theme was Tropical Night. In this video, the island is being erected, for some fun in the sun! The island is a gathering spot for boaters to grab a drink and enjoy the company of fellow sailors after the race! I went to Wakra Beach today on friday, (the main beach NOT next to the family beach) and there was no police to be seen. People were swimming and kitesurfing would have been no problem. It looks to me like the beach is available for us kiters again!
