O grande encontro da modalidade conta com mais de 100 barcos das principais classes de vela oceânica, como ORC, RGS, Mini Transat, Multicasco, Bico de Proa, Clássicos, C30 e HPE25. E, pela primeira vez, reúne regatas presenciais e virtuais, com as provas online feitas pelo aplicativo Virtual Regatta Inshore. @K12-SAR @Kullmann @SSRS A 12m LOA and 45 knot, 3-4 crew, Search and Rescue vessel for SSRS. Concept design, General Arrangement, and Lines by Birger Kullmann Design Naval Architects. The first vessel with our markV hull design. Built by Swedeship/Ø-Varvet on the Swedish west coast. An all out carbonfibre sandwich construction with DIAB high density core. Propulsion twin Volvo Penta D6 and Kongsberg Kamewa waterjets. Fully enclosed wheelhouse with 2+1(+1) arrangement and Ullman seats. Launched may 2024. This is boat number 01 in the series.

We are engaged by the buyer to inspect the boat before taking it over. That was our first meeting with Saxdor. I have to admit that I came with certain prejudices because we inspected boats of a similar type and could not find any justification for the prices that reached up to million of Euros. Saxdor is advertised as the fastest growing European brand, and according to what we have seen, we are not surprised.
