🍞 Banana Bread * Melt 1/3 cup unsalted butter * Mash in 3 overripe bananas * Stir in 1/2 cup sugar * Mix in 1 large egg * Stir in 1 tsp vanilla * Stir in a pinch of 🧂 * Stir in 1/2 tsp baking soda * Add in 1 1/2 cups AP flour * Add in 1 tsp ground cinnamon * Gently stir/fold in flour just until flour is incorporated (overmixing will make the bread dense) (I use a saucepan for everything so I can melt the butter in it first and avoid more washing more bowls and things) ✨Crumble Topping * 1/3 cup flour * 1/4 cup flour sugar (half white half brown is👌🏼) * 1/2 tbsp cinnamon * 2 tbsp chopped pecans * 2 tbsp salted butter Add everything into a small bowl and use a fork to cut the butter into the flour mixture until crumbly Pour batter into loaf pan Sprinkle with streusel topping Bake at 375F for 45-50 mins until inserted toothpick comes out clean Transfer to a wire rack to cool ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Am 22.03.2025 haben wir ein beach clean up in Eckerförde gemacht. Organisiert wurde es von der Captain Paul Watson Foundation. Nach nicht einmal 2 h haben wir 130kg Müll am Strand gesammelt. Lohnt sich also. Schöner wäre es natürlich gewesen, wenn wir gar nichts gefunden hätten. Mir als Segler liegen das Meer, die Fauna sehr am Herzen und ich freue mich, mit Gleichgesinnten einen Beitrag beizutragen unsere "Spielwiese" ein wenig sauberer zu halten. Vielleicht sehen wir uns irgendwann, irgendwo um gemeinsam Meeresschutz zu betreiben. Ich würde mich freuen. Dock Dodge is a sailboat race on Lake Union, annually May - September, held at 7 pm on Tuesday nights. On Tuesday, August 10th, the theme was Tropical Night. In this video, the island is being erected, for some fun in the sun! The island is a gathering spot for boaters to grab a drink and enjoy the company of fellow sailors after the race!
