One of our NSSC Sailability members, Jazz Turner, crossing the finish line at the end of her epic Project FEAR ("face everything and rise") journey. Jazz is terminally ill with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS), and is a full-time wheelchair user. After 28 days sailing around the UK and Ireland single-handed, non-stop and unassisted, Jazz arrived back at Brighton Marina around 13:30 on Monday 30th June 2025. Jazz is raising money for the Newhaven and Seaford Sailing Club (NSSC) Sailability fund. This video was taken by Mike Scott and shows my 2day build 14ft Zest dinghy sailing for the first time. Built during the 2 day Edensaw Boatbuilding Challenge at the Port Townsend WBF. Builders were Josh Turner, Bob Lange while Dan Carter and I took videos and got in the way.
