This has to be one of the quirkiest sailing catamaran designs out there. The Island Hopper 37 was developed by Uwe Jasperson (JAZ Marine) who was involved in the early Gunboats. ▫️ This coastal cruiser is 37' high performance cruising cat with a forward cockpit. The boat a real "Jetsons" feel to it : a great boat for fast cruising and weekend trips. ▫️ It's a pretty unique design, from the forward cockpit (very unusual in this size of yacht) to the light displacement and galley-down design, this boat focuses on performance, a boat to sail. I believe they only made a couple of them, so ultimately this was too niche for the market back then. ▫️ What are your thoughts? Is there a market for a sub 40' Performance Cat with a forward cockpit? Leave a comment below👇 ▫️ #multihulls #sailing #jazmarine #island hopper37 #performancecatamarans #quirky

About a year ago, I met Erion in the heart of Athens when he recognized me from my channel and approached me to express his gratitude for the help I had given him. At the time, he was a talented street artist, creating stunning wall clocks from discarded vinyl records. He was also just beginning his journey as a skipper, dreaming of one day owning his own boat. A year later, we crossed paths again in the same spot. This time, he brought me two meaningful gifts: a custom wall clock featuring my signature logo, as shown in the photo, and the exciting news of his progress as a navigator. God bless you, my friend. I can’t wait to set sail with you in the new year!🕛🎊

I am delighted to report that tomorrow at 16:00 CET I shall be a co-presenter in Lürssen's first ever "Lürssen Live" Show. An opportunity for yachting enthusiasts to ask questions of Peter Lürssen himself and find out why he is interested in building smaller...not larger...yachts!
