I took this video to show the actual weather - a decent F3 wind versus the forecast of very light wind F2 at best. Rutland Water has its own weather/ climate for sure.

A staysail is a type of sail on a sailboat that is set on a stay, or a support wire or rod that helps support the mast. A staysail can be found on the forward section of the boat, between the mast and the bow of the boat. Staysails are smaller than the main sail and can be triangular or jib-shaped.
