Abbiano tentato di intraprendere il percorso da Brindisi a Otranto ma non c'è stato niente da fare, poco dopo l'uscita del lungo porto, il mare (mosso) e il vento, già forte di Scirocco, ci hanno respinti. Naturalmente, il vento e mare erano proprio di fronte. Il tentativo di fare dei lunghi bordi è stato vano, in quanto la barca non è boliniera, inoltre le onde fermavano l'abbrivio costantemente. Quindi è stato inutile lottare contro le avversità e siamo tornati alla base (LNI Brindisi) per rimanerci per un pò di giorni, su consiglio spassionato dei locali. Tuttora siamo fermi in porto come i leoni in gabbia ma, saggiamente, ci dobbiamo adeguare agli eventi. La vela è cosi, piaccia o no.
