A favorite stop during our Sea of Cortez/Midriff Islands dive trips is Bahia de Los Angeles where we snorkel with whale sharks. These gentle giants come into this bay to feed. We use the local boats to take us into the bay. The crew looks for the whale sharks and then 4 people can get into the water with them. Sometimes they swim by quickly (there is absolutely no way to keep up with them ) and sometimes they are just happy to eat. We can even see multiple whale sharks at one time! Remember the three rules of snorkeling with whale sharks: 1) Don't touch the whale shark, 2) Don't touch the whale shark, and 3) Don't touch the whale shark. He he he!

Such a cool side-mount diving configuration was shown by our #divebuddy here as we dive into the popular #divesite in #Komodo. It seemed like he checked on our itinerary before the trip by bringing the proper gear to dive at this particular dive site. Fantastic enthusiasm, Mate! One of the dive sites in #Komodo is indeed famous for its strong currents, which makes this technique the perfect application, which can help reduce drag and improve hydrodynamics. This technique also can lead to better air consumption and enhanced maneuverability, which obviously will make your diving experience more enjoyable.
