This is part 1 of how to dock a boat! I will be doing different types of boats (1 engine and multiple engine) and different type of scenarios for docking. Let me know if you want a more detailed video and I will make them longer! #HauloverInlet #BigWaves #QualifiedCaptain #Outboards #FishingBoats #CenterConsole #CenterConsoleBoats #Offshoreboats #Speedboats #HOWTODOCK

We took Arabella to Boca Grande for a week to get some boat work done...but we had to spend some time adventuring, too. We paddle boarded over to Three Sisters Island, took Victoria out sailing (after repairing her transom), wandered around the "Old Florida" back roads, had lunch at the Pink Flamingo, and tried all the tasty treats! Even Akiva got to devour a "pup cup" from the local food truck... Want more? Watch the full episode - https://youtu.be/2S-qo288Nx8 -------------------------- Sign up for our email newsletter: http://eepurl.com/hn3Qyv Acorn to Arabella started as a wooden boat building project in Granby, Massachusetts. Steve began the journey as an amateur wooden boat builder crafting a 38' wooden sailboat in his backyard: designer William Atkin's Ingrid with a Stormy Petrel's gaff rig. These videos follow the journey from tree felling, to lumber milling, to lofting, to the lead keel pour and now sailing the boat—sharing details of the woodworking, carpentry, metal smithing, tool building, and tool maintenance that traditional wooden boats command. This ultimate DIY project continues beyond the boat shop, as Steve and crew travel and learn to cruise aboard the handmade wooden boat that they've built. Just kidding about all that, this channel is about a Siberian Laika named Akiva. -------------------------- If you are interested in supporting/helping here are a few ways: https://www.acorntoarabella.com/how-to-help Acorn to Arabella's wishlist: https://www.acorntoarabella.com/wishlistpriority TotalBoat supports A2A! Although we are no strangers to refit work, the decision to cast our own keel - from design to finished product is definately one of our crazier projects! A task that felt huge when starting, took up all our free time during spring. If you are further interested in our DIY keel casting, check out our channel or check out or playlist https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=st9sX4bne1k&list=PLHgGaw1dpS58b1uu5Wrq5HHw01zU335fv where we have gathered all our keel related videos!
