The Elan Hindsight stretched out to a lead over over two minutes at the first mark during racing at the Quoile Yacht Club 2 Day Event after a great decision to gybe away from the fleet to head over to the Portaferry shoreline to get relief from the tide. The team on J109 Going to Red worked hard up the first beat to close the gap before gliding by into the lead with a textbook leebow about half way to the second racing mark. Foram 10 meses só na âncora… e a gente já esperava o pior, claro! 🤣 Mas quando o Utopia saiu da água, ficamos surpresos, o resultado da nossa primeira pintura e instalação do nosso saildrive ficou muito boa! 🙌🏼 Mas de qualquer forma, ainda sim, temos muito a fazer! Começa agora a missão: pintura de fundo, limpeza geral, upgrades no sistema de ancoragem, instalação dos painéis solares e claro aquela boa surpresa que nunca fica de fora.
