Tropical Storm Bret looks like it will go over St Lucia and Martinique. We're down in Grenada, expecting bands of weather to affect us with high winds and churned-up seas. As it stands now, it's beautiful. You'd never know a storm was coming! This 'hurricane-hole' is in Egmont along the southern coast of Grenada. If you get in early enough, it's a great spot. Out approach to the nav buoys and the St. Marys inlet with Cumberland island (famous for the wild horses on island) after our 1474 mile passage from Antigua--most of the last 31 hours were in a Storm with winds at 40 knots, 4-6 meter seas and we blew out the mainsail just after dawn this day. We were happy to see the inlet. This was the first trip to the U.S. for Sloan (Antiguan) [ Antigua to St. Thomas to St.Marys Georgia, USA passage short reels ]
