We use our dinghy anchor mostly to keep our dinghy from hitting the dock when there is a swell. What we do is tie the dinghy to the dock, shoot the dinghy anchor off the back, and then pull the anchor line tight enough so that the dinghy doesn’t hit the dock. After we came back to a popped dinghy in Mustique, we learned that it’s best to use an anchor! Such a cool side-mount diving configuration was shown by our #divebuddy here as we dive into the popular #divesite in #Komodo. It seemed like he checked on our itinerary before the trip by bringing the proper gear to dive at this particular dive site. Fantastic enthusiasm, Mate! One of the dive sites in #Komodo is indeed famous for its strong currents, which makes this technique the perfect application, which can help reduce drag and improve hydrodynamics. This technique also can lead to better air consumption and enhanced maneuverability, which obviously will make your diving experience more enjoyable. If you've got any other tips for getting effective and efficient #underwater diving, drop 'em in the comments below.
