Liebe Segelfreunde, seit über 50 Jahren ist unserer kleiner Naturhafen in Magazzini an der nordöstlichen Küste der Insel ein beliebter Treffpunkt sowohl ambitionierter Wassersportler als auch wasserbegeisterter Familien. Sie lieben den Kontrast zwischen sonnendurchglühter Inselvegetation – in der Spazierwege direkt vom Hafen bis in die Berge führen – und den angenehmen Winden in der weiten blauen Bucht von Portoferraio. Von der Familie mit den unterschiedlichsten Freizeitbedürfnissen und Ansprüchen an „Ihren“ Urlaub bis hin zum routinierten Törnsegler, der sich bei uns von den Segelausbildern den „letzten Schliff“ für Regattasegeln oder Törnschulung in Fortgeschrittenenkursen vermitteln lassen will, wollen wir Eure Erwartungen erfüllen und möchten darüber hinaus unseren Gästen sowohl die Leidenschaft als auch das „know how“ für das Segeln vermitteln.

Ragazzi, ma quanto è bello dormire? Parliamoci chiaro. È sabato, non si lavora. Ci svegliamo ancora mezzi assonnati, così decidiamo di girarci dall’altra parte e continuare il nostro riposo del fine settimana. Circa un’ora e mezzo dopo, con dignitosa eleganza, decidiamo di viziarci con una focaccia locale, degna delle migliori focacce liguri (effettivamente si rivela squisita). Torniamo a bordo, molliamo gli ormeggi e sentiamo in videochiamata i mitici Chiara e Andrea, in vacanza anche loro per un giro in moto della Toscana. Parliamo di futuro, di progetti, di rivederci, di come stiamo. E proprio bello “fare il punto” con persone che parlano la tua stessa lingua. Continuiamo a navigare fino alla destinazione di oggi e, una volta data ancora, ci alleniamo. Domani andremo a villasimius saltando Cagliari. È previsto scirocco e il Poetto, rada in cui volevamo andare, è aperto proprio a venti provenienti da quel quadrante. Così supereremo Cagliari e andremo più a est. Un sabato di pile che si ricaricano e cuori che si riempiono. Domani sarà una domenica dedicata alla navigazione e alla sistemazione della barca, fermi mai! Buona notte e a domani♥️ Andrea

With a population of only 197, interaction with locals is a stones throw away from a number of Homestay options available on this island. Finding underwater beauty is not so difficult here. Along the Arborek pier, divers can simply plunge into the water and instantly find a most intriguing illumination of the glittering of a gorgonian fan just below the surface. People in Arborek are hospitable and very industrious, creating exceptional handicrafts from sea pandan leaves to make the most of their time each day. Arborek is fascinating both underwater and in the village.
