Liebe Segelfreunde, seit über 50 Jahren ist unserer kleiner Naturhafen in Magazzini an der nordöstlichen Küste der Insel ein beliebter Treffpunkt sowohl ambitionierter Wassersportler als auch wasserbegeisterter Familien. Sie lieben den Kontrast zwischen sonnendurchglühter Inselvegetation – in der Spazierwege direkt vom Hafen bis in die Berge führen – und den angenehmen Winden in der weiten blauen Bucht von Portoferraio. Von der Familie mit den unterschiedlichsten Freizeitbedürfnissen und Ansprüchen an „Ihren“ Urlaub bis hin zum routinierten Törnsegler, der sich bei uns von den Segelausbildern den „letzten Schliff“ für Regattasegeln oder Törnschulung in Fortgeschrittenenkursen vermitteln lassen will, wollen wir Eure Erwartungen erfüllen und möchten darüber hinaus unseren Gästen sowohl die Leidenschaft als auch das „know how“ für das Segeln vermitteln.

Giornata regolare, all’insegna del poco vento. Inizialmente corriamo bene, poi come da previsioni si spegne il vento, così accendiamo il motore. Continuiamo a navigare con le navi mercantili come uniche compagne di viaggio. Ogni tanto sull’AIS avvistiamo una barca a vela che va verso la Spagna e ci ricordiamo di quando questa stessa strada l’abbiamo percorsa noi, senza Starlink, senza AIS, senza dissalatore verso un futuro incerto, che ci sembrava più grande di noi. Domani mattina è previsto il nostro arrivo a Carloforte! Ma avremo la giornata PIENA di lavoro, quindi probabilmente non toccheremo suolo italiano fino a venerdì. Arriviamoooooo💪 C.

Get ready to explore this hidden gem on Croatia's Adriatic coast!" =========================== Transcript I want to talk about today is the Port. Luka Oprava. Port of Vrboska. This is where we park our yacht in the summer. So it's stern lines here lazy line so you've got lines going out for your bow here and then stern to the dock. Now we lock up a lot of boats along here and it's just a little less crowded than a lot of the other spots. And you've got ACI Marina down further but we very much prefer to be on this. Right in front of all of the cafes. It's just a little quieter and a bit more picturesque for us. So check out Vrboska, the Port of Vrboska when you're coming to Croatia next to bring your boat in. And we've brought boats up to 60 feet into here three and a half meters deep so there's plenty of water. Just make sure you check the charts as you come up the channel and run the point just over here a little bit wider. Other than that, call ahead. You can call and get hold of the port of Vrboska here to organise the space or to see if there's space that day and enjoy parking up on the lever here in Vrboska. =========================== Looking to sail in Croatia? New Excess Model! ▫️ One of the big announcements at the 2023 Cannes Yachting Festival was from @EXCESSCatamarans who announced a new addition to their range of sailing yachts in 2024. The new catamaran will slot in between the Excess 11 and Excess 14. ▫️ Helping them on the next stage of the brand's journey will be Lombard Design (MLYDG) – in charge of the naval architecture and Jean Marc Piaton who will design the interiors. ▫️ We are looking forward to seeing the design in more detail in early 2024!
