Råttan är äntligen i fångad! Efter timmar av städning och sanering börjar vi få båten tillbaka i ordning. Frukten hänger åter i näten, lådorna är på plats och vi börjar se ljuset i tunneln. Om allt går enligt plan lämnar vi på fredag för att påbörja vårt största äventyr hittills, seglingen över Stilla havet. Vi är både förväntansfulla och taggade! As with most long open ocean passages it’s never a certainty as to when we’ll actually leave. There is currently a very small weather window and it’s looking like we’ll leave Tuesday night (2 days from now). In the mean time, the crew and I are servicing, cleaning, maintaining, organizing, and preparing ourselves and the boat. The plan is to get to Bermuda (3-4 days) and then after a few days sail south to St Martin I’m the Caribbean (5-6 days).
