► Following the Moon 60 Sail, an ultra-comfortable catamaran that was offered a year ago, the Polish boatbuilder has announced a power version that’s based on the same platform. With XXL freeboard and generous superstructures, it’s a real villa on the water, not dissimilar in spirit to the Supreme range from Sunreef. The first plans to be released show appendages identical to those on the sail version, and the specifications given by the manufacturer on its website are those of the sailing version, with a draft of 5’11” (1.8 m). The New York Yacht Club American Magic sailing squad was confirmed on June 23 as the team launched their second AC40 in Barcelona following their relocation from Pensacola, FL. The squad includes Olympic Gold Medalists Tom Slingsby and Paul Goodison, Olympic Bronze Lucas Calabrese, U.S. Olympians Andrew Campbell and Riley Gibbs, and Etchell World Champion Michael Menninger.

We LOVE Nando’s Peri-Peri sauce, but it's is hard to find (and pricey!) in Trinidad, so I decided to make my own version. The result; something that's smoky, spicy, tangy and full of flavour, which we can adapt to local ingredients as we sail around the work. 👉 Recipe: https://www.travelsketchsailing.com/post/homemade-nando-s-peri-peri-sauce To start, I char-grilled onions and capsicum (bell peppers) on the boat, then blended them with garlic, hot peppers, and spices. The mixture simmered then cooled before being emulsified it with oil. The result? A bright orange, homemade Peri-Peri sauce that’s just as good as Nando’s! After backpacking Asia, road tripping Europe and doing a bit of van life, we’re now exploring the world aboard our Leopard 45 catamaran.
