Some of the biggest privilege we have as a long distance sailor are the places we got to visit. This beach in the marquesas islands in Polynesia is among the most beautiful and spectacular places I have ever anchored.

We anchored for a week, taking daily dinghy rides in, to hike Monument Beach. We did a trash clean up and beach walk one day, hiked the face of the cliff side another and soaked in all the sun!! One of the best more relaxing days we've had sailing in the Bahamas!

The journey from Pylos to Cefalonia begins at 6:00 AM. A stop in Katakolon for the night is planned, followed by Zante, if possible, before heading to Cefalonia. Then, waiting for a good weather window to cross to Sicily. #travel #Greece #islandhopping #Sicily #adventure #sailing
