I bought this gear for emergency use only. In case my prop gets entangled again. The first time it happened it was nearly catastrophic as the sudden stop of the prop from the entangled next sent a vibration and micro debris up the shaft to the dripless seal and the boat began to leak .. . which I was not aware of until I woke up after a nap having being pulled to port by the coast guard and the water was now above the floorboards. It has been busy at Lyman-Morse. This week we installed both the deck for the Hood35LM and the LM46. The Hood35LM is a 35' express motoryacht with a cold-molded hull with a carbon deck. The LM46 is the second hull in this cold-molded performance cruiser series. Both are scheduled for a late-spring launch. We look forward to sharing more soon. Much credit goes to the crew who made this process look easy!
