Monaco dahling? I’d rather be sailing! In our latest episode, having sailed further east from Antibes, we waited for a weather window to cross back to Corsica and found ourselves in Monaco - known the world over as the playground of the rich and famous. We dipped our toes into this tiny but exclusive and expensive country and watched the weather. Instead of the hoped for northerlies to blow us across to Corsica, the forecast grew into a far reaching mistral and the marina had no space for us to stay! After finding what we hoped would be a protected anchorage we crossed our fingers…. MY Oceanic's numerous and spacious common areas make her a perfect choice for smaller groups, while her powerful engine provides good speed to explore the eastern regions of Komodo, Flores, Alor and the Banda Sea. The cabin ,a new upper-deck suite was added, which together with the lower-deck suite and the remaining four standard cabins (all with double bed and top bunk), comfortably accommodates 12 pax in 6 double AC/ensuite cabins. Three gensets provide all-around-the-clock 220 v electricity supply, with two-pin European standard sockets.
