No Luxury tax. This Carver 38 Super Sport is really well equipped for extended cruising. The AB dinghy package has a 20 hp four stroke kicker is on an electric Sea Wise davit system. The bow thruster makes maneuvering a breeze. The bridge enclosure has all new windows and a glass front window with a wiper. The Raymarine GPS , Radar is fairly new, there is even heat up on the bridgedeck and lots of seating. Crossing the Gulf? No problem there is an auto pilot for easy efficient plotting. The cockpit is large and the deck walkaround is wide with great hand holds. Lots of storage in the cockpit also. The Salon is luxurious and well appointed, with a raised dinette, deck level galley, large flexsteel settee. The master stateroom has hanging closets and a queen island berth. The head has a vacuflush and walkin shower. There is a second stateroom. Other features include: Central heating, reverse air heat, flatscreen TV, cockpit brow hardtop, Fusion sound sysytem, Magnum charger, wired for Scotty downriggers, 8 KW diesel Koehler Genset in a sound shield, live bait tank, snap in carpets. The Volvo D6-310 turbo diesel motors have 1050 hours.

Meeting face to face with a green turtle always makes the dive and this is a fantastic site for meeting these chill turtle dudes. The Shallow Wrecks of Butler Bay, St Croix is a fascinating wreck dive for all skill levels and features: a NorthSea Trawler (Suffolk Maid); a tugboat (Northwind); a massive oil barge (Virgin Islander); NOAA’s HydroLab (Aegir), which was decommissioned in 1985; and the remains of several Hess Oil Trucks. With it’s wheelhouse starting at 20′, The Northwind Tugboat was used in the TV movie “Dreams of Gold — The Mel Fisher Story” and is a photographer’s favorite.
