We adopted Basil a few months ago. As far as anyone knows, he never had a home until now. He was fed as a stray in Kamloops last winter and had an injured leg. He was trapped and taken to the local shelter. Somehow he then made his way down to Vancouver where we met him at the local SPCA and brought him to his new home, W. Grebe. He is settling in just fine to life on the water. You see plenty more of Basil in future episodes. #BeLikeBasil #sailingcats #boatcat

It doesn't happen on every cruise. We don't plan for it. The dolphins don't keep to a schedule. But every so often, we are lucky enough to have some of our marine mammal friends come and visit us while we are anchored in a secluded bay. Have you ever woken up to dolphins playing outside?
