La nostra bella Freya deve prepararsi per stare bene per tante e tante miglia ancora, quindi senza pensarci troppo abbiamo giร fatto cominciare la nuova stagione, quella del cantiere. I lavori in lista sono tanti e impegnativi. Per dirvene qualcuno, abbiamo disalberato per fare una modifica al sartiame e stiamo facendo un ponteggio intorno alla barca per gelcoattare lo scafo e risistemare la coperta. Since our first visit, Cumberland Island has become the โmagicalโ or โenchantingโ place on the ICW. And how lucky are we to be able to visit it by private vessel? We enjoy exploring all parts of the island, from the trails and marsh to the beaches and mansion ruins, but itโs the wildlife and remoteness that keeps us wanting to come back. Words and pictures cannot describe the experience as you immerse yourself under the canopy of mossy oaks while hearing the chirps of birds, the whinnying of horses, and the rustling leaves made by the armadillos.
