It's time for the 2017 Para World Sailing Championships in Kiel, Germany. More than 80 sailors from 39 nations will compete over five days of competition. The event is being held at the Schilksee Olympic Centre, as part of the 2017 Kieler Woche. Competitors will race across the three Para World Sailing Championship Classes; the 2.4 Norlin OD, Men's Hansa 303 and Women's Hansa 303. After 19 months of rehabilitation, Matilda the Hawksbill sea turtle has been released back into the waters of the Great Barrier Reef at Green Island, and in a first for our region, has been also been fitted with a satellite tracking device. After making a full recovery from 'floaters disease' under the care of the Cairns Turtle Rehabilitation Centre, the once critically ill turtle was released into the waters of Green Island by CTRC volunteers with the assistance of Great Adventures.
