We’ve been quite impressed with the boat speeds we’ve been able to achieve so far, with minimal to zero fine tuning. On our first outing we had 9.3 knots from 12-13 knots of true wind, on a close reach. Today it was almost six knots from less than 9 knots of true wind, reaching. Keep in mind that it’s a heavy cruiser, not a racer. :-)

Anchoring at Playa La Masca, one of the most impressive bay of Tenerife, with my sailing boat Maneki. Sunset, just arrived from Valle Gran Rey ( La Gomera), around 60 miles all upwind. Ancoraggio a Playa La Masca, una delle baie piu' spettacolari di Tenerife. E' il tramonto, sono appena arrivata da Valle Gra Rey (La Gomera), circa 60 miglia nautiche, una navigazione tutta bolina e bordi per risalire il vento da NE.
