While we were motoring back into Canet-en-Roussillon marina at the end of our week charter on an Excess 11, we were overtaken by Zig Zag, a Windelo 54 under full main and Code 0. Ahoy! Sailing bliss or disaster? We're leaving the Eagle Point marinara a raw sail downwind to our marina in Lake Dallas. Cyndi and I have come this far to try our hand at a downwind wing-on-wing sail plan, after an easterly beam reach, then a westward sail. We had a great time practicing the training run and the down-wind sail setup.
