? Growing up in an abusive family can leave deep scars, but remind yourself -and everyone else who needs to hear it-that it's okay to feel the way you do. It's okay to acknowledge the pain and confusion that comes from a childhood filled with fear and uncertainty.  "I promise to honor my journey, no matter how difficult it may seem. Healing is not linear, and there will be days when the weight of the past feels heavy. But I'm learning that it's okay to take my time. It's okay to seek help and lean on others when I need support."
