We left to visit family and came back to wet bilges…we know Kotor Bay in Montenegro had severe rainstorms while we were gone. In preparation of being away from the boat we removed our Bimini and dodger which opened up the companionway for direct wind driven rain to penetrate. This is the result. We need to investigate our auto bilge pump as it appears to be locked up. In the meantime Shelly sopped up the water and Cass worked through a solution for the louvered doors. We have a temporary solution which I will post in part 2. #sailinglife #rainstorms #bilgewater #travelblogger #vlog #boatlife #sailingeriskay

This is why we do what we do. Our family adventures aren’t just about exploring breathtaking places, they’re about nurturing a lifelong connection to the ocean, to nature, and to cultures that live in harmony with it. Snorkel vibrant coral reefs. Swim with manta rays and whale sharks. Share books and smiles with local children. Learn traditional crafts. Dance under the stars. Teach your kids to feel the wonder, so they’ll grow up ready to protect it. 🧭 Travel that inspires, educates, and connects. Make memories that matter for your family and the planet. #FamilyAdventureTravel #EducationalTravel #OceanLovers #SustainableFamilyTravel #NatureConnection #TravelWithPurpose #LuxuryFamilyAdventure #CoralConservation #WhaleSharkExperience #EcoTravel #ConsciousTravel #WildlifeEncounters #PinisiSailing #FamilyTravelUSA #FamilyTravelEurope #AustraliaTravelWithKids

Want to support the podcast? http://patreon.com/SaltyAbandon Here is my engine after new fuel injectors installed, valves adjusted, as well as the following: new impeller and belt, new alternator belt, changed oil and filter, cleaned sea strainer, new fuel filters, and reinstalled air box and air filter. Going to run it 2 hours and change the oil again (because of the fuel that got into the oil). Still need to install new fuel lift pump. Still need to change the fuel lift pump. I realize not all of the items affected the problem but I'm mentioning them anyway for good measure. Sep 7-9, 2018. I was sailing from Orange Beach to Clearwater and onto who-knows-where. Fri, Sep 7th, leg was Orange Beach to Destin.  Sat & Sun leg was Destin to Clearwater (48 hour Gulf Crossing).  We had some engine troy ke after we left Destin. Seatow towed us 10 hours back to Orange Beach. 1988 Island Packet 27 in Orange Beach, AL Please subscribe to this channel.  I have two playlists:  Salty Abandon Full Length Episodes and Salty Quickies (this video is a Salty Quicky).
