This video was taken by the skipper of a 54ft yacht in the Caribbean. The situation was that the skipper questioned the legendary speed under sail of the Shearwater 45, so Steve Hunt, the owner of "Maggy May", challenged him to a race to the next island and gave him a head-start of nearly 40 minutes. After 260Nm and about 46hrs we sailed all the way from Jacksonville to West Palm Beach. We even saw manta rays on the way South and a rocket. good crossing overall. We got our Covid test done today and are now waiting for the results to cross to the Bahamas. Wish us luck. #shorts
