Bei der Überführung der Segelyacht “Makani”, einer Sigma 38 von Korfu nach Rhodos vom 8. bis 13. April und am 16. April nach Marmaris ist alles anders, was man sonst vom Segeln in Griechenland kennt. As SANDPIPER in long initial ownership by #santa #Barbara #yacht Club's Dean Brown, she was a well known and successful participant in some of the classic West Coast USA offshore races. Subsequently she has cruised the Pacific seaboard in the hands of only two owners who, not surprisingly, fell in love with this very attractive, responsive and sure-footed yacht. Modern sail handling systems allow her to be easily sailed single or short handed while bow and stern thrusters allow neat berthing feats. Although very much in commission, ROSE WILDER does require attention to elements of her structure commensurate with her age - reflected in a very reasonable asking price for a very striking 50-footer with superb provenance.

Wir sind auf der Ostsee unterwegs. In Deutschland ist es fast winterlich. Hier in den ost-schwedischen Schären gab es gestern einen kalten Tag. Heute am 11. August 2016 ist es nach einem Hagelschauer wieder sommerlich. Wir liegen im Hafen der Lotseninsel Idö kurz südlich von Västervik. Grade ist die Sonne untergegangen. Mit der Sony A7RII und dem 24-70 GM habe ich eine kleine Zeitraffersequenz gemacht und lade sie einmal unbearbeitet auf YouTube hoch.
