► A not-to-be-missed event for boating enthusiasts on the U.S. East Coast, the Annapolis Boat Shows attract some 100,000 visitors every year. The event is in fact two separate boat shows held in the same spot, but a week apart. The Powerboat Show, dedicated just to powerboats (417 units on display), was held from October 3 to 6, followed by the Sailboat Show from October 10 to 14. It’s the latter of the two that we’ve selected for you. The event provided an opportunity to take stock of how the multihull sector is taking hold in the United States: we counted 56 two- or three-hull units compared with 96 monohulls, totaling nearly 30% of the offer. We found a hike to some ruins across from the bay of our marina and decided to go investigate. This was an amazing day, with route finding, a beautiful cemetery, epic views and ruins at the top. They are outside the village of Orahovac, Montenegro. A hike we will never forget. We are so fortunate to live such an amazing life. 💕
