Vom Sportbootführerschein (SBF) See- und Binnenschiffahrtsstrassen bis zum Sportküstenschifferschein (SKS) oder einfach nur zum Spaßsegeln finden alle Kurse bei uns zur gleichen Zeit statt, damit Ihr mittags und abends zusammen den Familienurlaub genießen könnt. Halekai is Hawaiian for ‘house on the sea’ – and what a house! The name of the owners’ previous yacht also has Hawaiian origins, so this elegant, powerful sloop is a natural progression for a highly experienced repeat customer. Based on a Bloemsma fabricated aluminum hull, Halekai, the fourth yacht in the 128 series, was completed by Pendennis Shipyard in Falmouth, UK and is the second successful project we have completed with the Cornish yard. Although based on the well-proven 128 hull design, Halekai is highly customized with a flexible deckplan package for regatta performance, specialized kite surfing and sailboard stowage in the amidships cockpit and a custom navigation station in the aft deckhouse which leads into the working cockpit. Hoek Design is responsible for the general arrangement and all the interior joinery and worked closely with celebrated American interior designer Ken Fulk who has injected a Hawaiian influence. The yacht can accommodate eight guests, including the owners, and five crew.

All of the 500m World Speed Sailing Records that have been set since 1988. Paul Larsen on Sail Rocket 2 still holds the record at an average of 65.45 kts over half a kilometre, but there are a couple of teams that are challenging for the honours. The current target? 80 knots. ▫️ Do you think they can do it? Which do you think was the most impressive record breaker? ▫️ Was it Paul Larsen smashing the previous record by almost 10 knots?
