Whether it's the bows of our sailboat, the edge of a pool or a rocky jungle ledge, our boat dog Rose will sing, bark and give you "the look" until you throw a ball or stick for her to go in after! Being around our "little Aussie Shep", it becomes clear pretty fast that she was born for a life of adventure. This little doggo has traveled halfway around the world by sea, and there's truly no place she'd rather be than on the boat, around her humans. With the boat on the hardstand, we take her out as often as possible, to cool down and go a little wild. This pool in Covigne Gorge is one of our favourites, as it has a nice jungle hike that ends somewhere we can all swim. #dogsworld #boatdog #dogshorts

As Trent and Lukasz were coming back to the boat last night they were met with views of every sailors worst nightmare - a boat on fire. Out in the La Brisas anchorage, off the coast of Perico Island, the chaotic glow of the fire lit up the night sky. Emergency crews worked to contain it but ultimately it burned to the waterline. Thankfully, no injuries have been reported, but it did blanket the area in noxious fumes, some of which reach SV Liger. Sealing ourselves inside the hulls helped prevent exposure to it, but it was a stark contrast to the usual calm of the Amador Causeway. Anoche, cuando Trent y Lukasz regresaban al barco, se encontraron con la peor pesadilla de cualquier marinero: un barco en llamas. En el fondeadero de La Brisas, frente a la costa de la isla de Perico, el caótico resplandor del fuego iluminaba el cielo nocturno. Los equipos de emergencia trabajaron para contenerlo, pero finalmente el barco se quemó hasta la línea de flotación. Afortunadamente, no se han reportado heridos, pero sí cubrió la zona con gases nocivos, algunos de los cuales llegaron hasta el SV Liger.
