The Minch is an extremely unpredictable sea area off the Western coast of Scotland, known for its rapidly changing weather and choppy waters. This fascinating stretch of ocean is not only a test of seamanship but also a breathtaking experience for those who dare to navigate its depths. However, the lure of seeing the stunning Outer Hebrides, with their pristine beaches and rugged landscapes, was strong enough to motivate us to take the risk. Are you ready for the warming up? Our Dehler 30 one design engine is already running... The Stealth Drive only comes to the fore when needed and is hermetically sealed behind its cover. We pair a small diesel engine (10 hp) with a rectractable shaft, which is controlled by a lever in the cockpit. This new drive concept is typically Dehler: designed for mass production and easy maintenance. To use the engine a simple pull on the lever is enough: the drive train folds down and the boat is ready to go under power. No water resistance and no chance that nets, seaweed or other foreign objects could tangle the prop and slow you down.
