#sailinglife #marriagesavers #headset #hollyland #shorts #marineheadset #outdoorlife #walkietalkies #boatlife #Hollylandtech #communication #fijiisland #fijiwater #shorts Recently we went to the aid of a sailboat that had hit a reef in Fiji because the spotter didn't warn the helm in time about the coral reef up ahead. Fast communication between the spotter and helm is essential to navigate the dubiously chartered coral reefs and bommie fields of Fiji and we've often envied crew on other boats who manage to do this without shouting at eachother down the length of the boat! Someone at @hollylandtech obviously noticed our lack of effective communication and sent us some cool Solidcom C1 Pro headsets to try out.. and boy have they made a difference We turn down 90% of free products offered for us by brands to 'try out' because.. well, we know we just won't use them, but these headsets have been an absolute Godsend, so thanks to the guys at @Hollylandtech

Dolphins off the Isle of Rum, on the west coast of Scotland. On a trip with Sail Scotland members Moonshadow Yacht Charters Ltd. Scotland offers sailing as it should be… there’s space and freedom. And the choice to do a lot – or do next to nothing – in this spectacular setting. It’s uncrowded and unspoilt, and life here moves at a different pace. People come specially to see basking sharks, puffins, seals, dolphins and eagles. They sail. They walk along beaches and coastal paths, explore local history and photograph their surrounds. They eat fresh seafood at stylish cafes and vibrant marinas. They enjoy the friendly traditional pubs. They browse shops in bustling coastal towns and villages. They picnic on beaches that are near-deserted, even in the height of summer. Or just sit and watch the tides, the sunsets and the stars.
