LoveWater ha fatto anch'esso rotta verso Sud Ovest e naviga all'inseguimento del trimarano italiano, che si trova 35 miglia più avanti. "Siamo ancora in vantaggio", spiega Giovanni Soldini da bordo, "ma la situazione è molto complessa e il passaggio dell'alta pressione si aprirà con il vento da dietro, per cui mentre noi stiamo rallentando LoveWater continua ad andare piuttosto veloce. È come se ci trovassimo davanti a un cancello, che si aprirà quando LoveWater ci avrà raggiunto: ne usciremo probabilmente appaiati". I will pick up my new passport this afternoon and then we'll be on the road to Washington to have a look at the boat I want to buy. It is a really cool story...I can't wait to tell it. Also a little reinforcement of what this channel will be about. Wild food, fly fishing, traditional bowhunting, foraging, and campfires in the backcountry...but home will be a sailboat!
