If your vessel is traveling in a straight line and the angle to another vessel relative to your vessel is not changing then you have an issue. You can also use a compass. We're super excited to be a part of the @seakeepers research project mapping the ocean floor. We met the International Seakeepers Society at the Auckland Boat Show 2024 and when we heard about their various projects we asked if we could apply to join their research program of mapping the seafloor (which we did) and within a few days they sent us the logger and some other cool stuff free of charge.
