The giant manta rays of Revillagigedo are unique in their desire to interact with divers. A diver maneuvers under the curious manta as we believe the mantas enjoy the feeling of the bubbles on his belly. He enjoys them so much that he does a somersault around the diver. Wow! Having set off from Montenegro at the end of April we thought we would have plenty of time to make it to the South of France for a planned lift out in early July but the weather had been challenging so far, with too much wind at the beginning of the season and now, too little. The Elviscot is the Italian shipwreck nearly 500 tonnes that went aground on the Ogliera Rocks . The ship has been there, not far from the beach, since 1972.
