► Essai dans Multicoque Mag 219 : https://www.multicoques-mag.com/essais/catamaran/outremer-52-la-quintessence-du-catamaran-hauturier ► Pour ce nouveau 52, le chantier a tenu à s’entourer de l’expertise des architectes VPLP et de grands noms du design français (Patrick Le Quément, Darnet Design, Saguez & Partners), mais également du savoir-faire du chantier Gunboat (également membre du Groupe Grand Large Yachting), lequel a permis de réduire le poids de la structure tout en conservant une résistance à toute épreuve. Ceci a permis d’augmenter les surfaces vitrées et les ouvertures dans le catamaran. Dans le but de faciliter la maîtrise de l’Outremer 52, les manœuvres peuvent être ramenées dans le cockpit. A l’instar de l’Outremer 55, la barre à roue, positionnée à tribord, garantit un parfait contrôle du multicoque avec une visibilité exceptionnelle sur les voiles. Elle peut aussi se mettre en position basse dans le cockpit afin de se protéger du soleil ou par mauvais temps. Les deux barres franches restent opérationnelles à l’arrière des coques. A l’intérieur, on appréciera la banquette de veille face à la marche, les quatre ouvertures à l’avant du carré, et la baie vitrée XXL qui s’ouvre sur le cockpit. L’Outremer 52 se décline en trois finitions – Life, Nomad et Sportline. I tried to figure out if there were any MPA areas near me, and discovered that as far as I could tell, I was no longer allowed to go fishing in the Chesapeake Bay, the Atlantic Ocean, or for that matter, anywhere else between Maine and Florida. Fortunately, what the government does poorly, independent businesses often do well. Enter FishAlerts, an app that lets you see your exact position and the position of MPAs, on your phone or tablet. Let's check out how it works. The app makes it easy to see exactly what restrictions you may or may not be under, when fishing in any given location. It also includes some handy fishing data, like tides and currents and weather data. Plus it works with the whole social media thing, giving you a quick way to snap off a fish pic and zip it over to Facebook and Twitter. And just for the record, yes—you can still fish in the Chesapeake and the open Atlantic, from Maine clear on down to Florida.
