Here is the port helm station on our boat. The removable helm window allows you to see completely through the boat when removed as well as have access to our chart plotter. In heavy weather or rain we keep the helm window in place but can still see the chart plotter through it and access it easily around the corner through the doorway. Having @bandgsailing electronics onboard have been a game changer for us compared to our minimal electronics on Adrenaline. Being able to see our true and apparent wind data and even set the autopilot to steer to the wind angle rather than a compass heading has made our sailing way more efficient. All our control lines our led to the cockpit as well so there really is not much reason to have to leave the cockpit in rough conditions. Hunter Impala 28 "Jiminy Cricket" win the joint start to the 2022 Bar Buoy Race. They hit the line with speed and held off the leading IRC 1 yachts for the first stretch of the race. With the main back winding as the apparent wind increase and moved forward as the tide took hold and pushed them out towards the Bar Buoy at speed. Strangford Sailing Club once again did a great job kicking off the annual narrows series with a great race out and back into the narrows. Jimminy Cricket GBR 9507 went on to finish 6th in the IRC2 fleet.
