Probando calcetín artesano para gennaker Testing a handmade gennaker snuffer. Pedazo de calcetín para el gennaker artesano que me ha fabricado un seguidor del canal. Funciona a la perfección. El snuffer, que es como se conoce en inglés, es una ayuda súper importante en el izado y arriado de velas portantes tales como los spinnakers o spi y los gennakers, ya que las desventa. se tira de un cabo tira-vira y el calcetín baja introduciendo la vela dentro de sí mismo. Al suceder esto, la vela pierde toda la potencia y se iza o arría sin dificultad.
