Sea Trial in a Gale: the T-2000 Voyager from Safehaven Marine. ▫️ This is a 20m high performance, long range blue water explorer catamaran from Safehaven Marine who are designers and builders of FRP Pilot boats, Patrol boats, Crew transfer vessels, Hydrographic survey catamarans, Naval & Military craft and unique custom Private Motor Yachts.  ▫️ The T-2000 Voyager cruises at 30-40 knotswith a top speed that exceeds 50 knots. ▫️ Performance in any weather. ▫️ The Voyager has an integrated hydrofoil that increases fuel efficiency. The hydrofoil lifts the hull out of the water at speeds above 20 knots, reducing drag and resistance. This reduces fuel consumption by up to 25% increasing her range. ▫️ Engineered with symmetrical semi-wave piercing hulls, an inverted bow with traditional topside flare allowing for a fine waterline entry. The topside flare plays a key role in keeping the boat dry, throwing spray clear and preventing excessive bow immersion in following seas. ▫️ Length Overall (L.O.A.) of 21.4 meters (70 feet) and a beam of 6.2 meters ▫️ She is powered by a pair of 24 litre MAN V12 engines, ranging from 1,550hp to 2,000hp. ▫️ Range: 1000nm at 30 kts, 2800 nm at 8kts. ▫️ #powerboats #motoryacht #offshore #gale @frankkowalski6405

Some so-so footage of one of the seals we saw on today's outing. The seal is that black ball in the upper right portion of the frame. At about the 30 second mark he dives and you can see the shape of his body, which looks like a big fat black sausage. The footage isn't so great, but we were close enough that we could clearly make out his the features of his face, and could tell he was looking at us; probably as curious about us as we were about him!

So much happens behind the scenes, like the time I tried my first cigar while anchored at Pancake Creek… let’s just say it didn’t go too well 😅
