@virgincharteryachts attended the La Grande Motte Multihull show to tour the Aventura 50 powercat, winner of the 'Multihull of the Year' award. The Aventura 50 will be joining the Virgin Charter Yachts BVI bareboat charter fleet at Nanny Cay Marina in the British Virgin Islands in the Spring of 2024. Ci eravamo abituati alla morbida e alta onda lunga oceanica. Questa notte abbiamo lasciato la marina Rubicon di Lanzarote per raggiungere la marina di Las Palmas, sull’isola di Gran Canaria. Dopo poche miglia a vela il mare inizia a innervosirsi presentandoci una corta, alta e fastidiosa onda incrociata. Non riuscivi a stare in piedi! Ogni cambio turno ci si lamentava delle condizioni con chi sopraggiungeva, che a sua volta non era riuscito a dormire come avrebbe voluto. Tutto sommato la notte è comunque passata. Siamo arrivati a Las Palmas e ci siamo messi all’ancora. I prossimi giorni saranno di preparazione della barca per la traversata. Adesso andiamo a dormire presto per recuperare le ore dormite poco e male questa notte. Buona befana a tutti! Andrea
