The first orca (nicknamed Moby Doll) ever to be caught alive was captured off East Point on Saturna Island. East Point is one of the view places in the world where you can get close to orcas from the land. The resident whales swim past twice a day East Point is only a couple of minutes walk from our summer house on Saturna island, so we see them frequently

Starting our Volvo Penta MD19 for the first time after our overhaul. We took the engine apart completely and renovated/changed the components. We did almost the entire work ourselves and wrote all about it on our blog.
