È tutto pronto ad Antigua per il via della 12a edizione della RORC Caribbean 600, che per i multiscafi partirà domani alle 11.30 ora locale (15.30 UTC, 16.30 ora italiana) da Fort Charlotte, mezz’ora dopo la partenza prevista per le altre classi. Giovanni Soldini e Maserati Multi 70 gareggeranno con altri 7 multiscafi, tra cui i loro diretti rivali in assetto MOD, l’americano Argo e l’inglese PowerPlay. A bordo di entrambi navigheranno due equipaggi forti ed esperti: Brian Thompson e Franck Cammas saranno a bordo di Argo, Loick Peyron su PowerPlay. Le condizioni meteo previste per questa edizione della regata non sono favorevoli: i modelli indicano un aliseo instabile, con poco vento soprattutto per le prime 12 ore di regata. Talk about being SHOCKED! My neighbor SURPRISED me with a gift that he got while free diving in front of our home. He saw me firing up the grill for some steak and thought he would go free diving to turn my dinner into a "surf and turf". He walked straight out of the ocean and up to my lanai and proceeded to clean it right there! I have never cooked an octopus before so I asked him how and he gave me some quick tips and then handed it to me. When I put the Octopus into the boiling pot of water it began to move. Then when I put the salt in the water it moved even more. It was trippy! Knowing what I know now, I will certainly try a few things different to help get the meat to be more tender. All in all, it didn't come out to bad tho! Mahalo! #octopusfreediving #octopuschannel #seafood #surfandturf
