Sailing "Off the Starboard Hull " (teaser) - Ep. 1 - sailing in a Lagoon 400 S2 catamaran This video is about a Canadian couple from Vancouver Island who is planning to sail around the world, untying the lines in August of 2016. Before we start, we will be exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest and outfitting our Lagoon 400S2, Muskoka, for our offshore adventure. Please feel free to ask any questions or give us advise - we will try our best to answer all your comments. Also, show that you want to share our excitement by liking or subscribing. We look forward to hearing from you! Update: Laurie was ejected from the boat in late April 2019 after almost 3 glorious years of exploring and discovery. She is now back in BC with family and friends.
Hey guys, I think knowing your knots is a very important part of boat life since you gotta use knots every single day - but I do know a surprisingly big number of sailors who are more the âif you donât know how to knot, knot a lotâ type! đ¤Ēđ I definitely always make sure to tie off my dinghy properly- you donât wanna come back to where you âparkedâ your dinghy, just to find an empty spot - happens more often to sailors than youâd think. đ¤Ŗđ But KNOT on my watch! Bowline for the win! đđĒ Whatâs your favorite knot? Cheers guys, Kristina
